One end is female thread, the other end is male screw thread.

In the following case, the extension should be used:

 1.The concrete core axial extension steel tube or the length of reinforcing steel bar is exceed the length of drill bit;

 2.If can't  unfix the concrete core in the effective length of drill bit.
